My Last Resolution (A New Year's Novella) (2000) - Plot & Excerpts
Paris is a tough girl. 6years is quite a long time to be with someone she's invested so much in money, effort and time. Love got lost along the way and that's what also tore them apart aside from the selfish 'me' time Adrian is pulling off on Paris. It took what little respect she had left to officially break it off with Adrian but it takes a whole lot of courage to walk away and start afresh. You'd think there was just a rebound guy, or some one night fling. But I'm not spilling the beans here. Whitney does her story with a little more credit than that.In the end, I had a nice laugh, though I thought there was more after that. But nevertheless, I really liked this story. I decided to read this book by Whitney G., because I read Reasonable Doubt Vol. 1 by her (while waiting for Reasonable Doubt Vol. 2) and I have to say I really like this romance book. Whitney G., has such a way of telling a story that is vividly detailed that you can feel the emotions of each character. With that being said, Paris has always written New Years Resolutions. Well this year was no different and this time she plans to keep #11 and some in between. I can't say anymore because I don't want to give away any spoilers. But it is a quick read that will leave you saying WOW!
