This book was fully of drama! The storyline was wild, a lot of sex going on throughout the book, Lynn an over protective controlling mother, that really needed to let her son grow up and stop babying him. She was acting as if she wanted her son instead of trying to have a love of her own. She also had three of the craziest girlfriends. Especially Ko Ko she really need to check herself, her character was way over the top. I didn't like the way she went about get Rayshawn and I definitively didn't like the daughter Kiara. Rayshawn Lynn's son was really trying hard to keep his dick wet and slept with any and everybody that would let him. I will say that the ending was a twist that I didn't see coming, yes I had some concerns about Felice but didn't expect that type of ending. Have you lost your mind?Jasmine- Of course not mama, I was listening to music and texting Brittany. Did you need me for something?Janet- Why are you always listening to that crap? I don’t know were you got your taste in music, but it darn sure not from around here. That rock music you play all the time gives me headaches on day to day bases. Jasmine- I will learn to turn it down when I’m in the shower mama. Now do you still need me to go to the store for you?Janet- Yeah, I needed you to take your butt to the corner store and get me a pack of smokes. Your 18 now make yourself useful.Jasmine- Ok, I will go then.Janet- No, your sister just went for me. She has the baby, a job, and she still finds time to help out her mother. Can you say the same jasmine?Jasmine- I’m sorry mama, but I have school stuff to do all the time. Senior year is ending soon. I’m waiting on my letter from NYU, to see if I got in with Jake. Plus I have had a job since I was 14 years old just to afford to get in. The only thing I don’t have is a baby. How can you complain about that?Janet- Yeah well, you never no. I’m pretty sure that your white boy got into your pants already or he wouldn’t still be around. Like I said I’m going out to get my nails done and your sister and Rayshawn have the baby to look after, so that leaves you. Am I clear?Jasmine- Yes mama, what you want me to make?Janet- That’s what I like to hear. How about some ribs tonight, but that will mess up my nails so make steak instead ok. Got to go.(Janet Exits)Jasmine- Man, I’m going to have to cancel on Jake again. This is the fifth time this month alone. I can’t wait to finish my last two weeks of high school, move with Jake to New York and go to school where we could both become doctors in a children’s hospital. We could live together and get married in a couple of years. Have two kids after a while. A boy and a girl named Jake Jr. and Taylor Lee. We would be the perfect family. It can all be mine, if I just take a deep breath and get through these two weeks smoothly. Starting by texting Jake that I can’t make it tonight for dinner and a movie. (Picks up phone texting) Than going downstairs and cook dinner for my headache or a family. (Gets off the bed and walks to door and takes a deep breath) One step at a time. (Walks out of the room).
