I really liked this one. My favorite character was Titus, because he reminded me of Superman and Tarzan.This was a sexy book and a good story. I thought the writing was very good. The sex was way hot with lots of steamy details written in, but still it did not totally dominate the story. I ended ip liking Daniel a lot. Andreas was the most difficult character for me. Of course i liked him but I did not see him as clearly as i saw the others. I never quite understood why Titus loved him. The book was a bit sappy mushy at times, but somehow I don't mind that in a gay romance. All of the characters had some depth and the angst was at about the right level for me. Maybe there could have been more poignancy instead of mushiness but maybe that is the tradeoff for less angst. I will definitely read more in this series. I noticed that someone posted pictures of what they thought Titus and Andreas looked like and I know I will look for that too. I refrain from reading paranormal books and especially vampire ones at that (and it has nothing to do with Twilight). The e-market is definitely not one of the best places to read vampire books and especially not in the M/M genre. I can't say this book was any better but at least I had fun reading it.Andre is also vengeful as he believes a vampire killed his sister, so he goes into said vampires bar to get his revenge. There he meets an "Ancient" named Titus.1. Andre is all vengeful but he knows he cannot take on a vampire but tries and get his arse kicked by said vamp's cronies.2. Then he decides getting "Turned" is the only way to kill the vampire. He locks onto Titus who is an Ancient and tries to get him to make hima vampire.It typically evolves into a love story / sex romp and basically when Andre and Titus get it on both men do a 180 in their personalities because of "twu wuv".Overall it was a cheesy novel and the main characters are okay if a little boring and rather one-dimensional. I just loved Daniel Titus's ex-lover.
SJ Frost is usually a safe choice but vamps aren't usually my thing and this didn't change my mind.
