She’d been a bit worried the increased sales would stop now the excitement over catching the shoplifters had faded. In fact, now she thought about it, website sales had steadily increased ever since the upgrade of their site. Almost every day the dollar amount of sales was just a fraction higher than the previous day, and even though Luxurious Leatherwork charged for shipping, whereas some stores provided free shipping, this didn’t seem to deter people from buying from them. She no longer ate her lunch in the backroom, as she needed the time for wrapping parcels, and printing out address labels, so she was eating a sandwich at the cash desk while wrapping orders, when she noticed a teenage girl standing outside the store staring at the clothes. The girl had long, straight blonde hair, a good figure, and was wearing a pair of tight leather shorts identical to the ones that had been stolen. Rhonda had to say, the boyfriend had a good sense of the girl’s size. They fit perfectly. Nonetheless she hit the speed dial for security and whispered, “Ted, there’s a girl outside my store wearing leather shorts just like the ones the kid stole.”
