Navidad En El Cupcake Café (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
(Puede tener ligeros spoilers de la primera parte) La historia me ha encantado, si bien quizá se quede en un 3'5 porque su primera parte me enamoró, esta tiene un toque especial de cara a la navidad. El personaje de Austin me ha defraudado un poquito, pero por otra parte adoro a Darny, con sus mosqueitos y sus cosas. A la que he dejado de soportar es a Helena, su personalidad era fuerte y definida, ahora es una adoradora del bicho satánico que tiene en casa y se hace caca en la cabeza o.O It's always tricky to read a sequal, but I enjoyed this one just as much as Meet Me At The Cupcade Café. This book still has the same strong characters. I like the diversity. Between Caroline, Pearl and Issy you have 3 completely different women, but they found their common ground. The kids, Darny, Louis and the spoiled brat toddler of Caroline are a great addition to the bunch as well.The relationship issues between Issue and Austin were very realistic I think. And of course a book like this needs a happy ending :)
