THE SIXTEENTH DAY7. THE SIXTEENTH DAY  During the past three days, Brandon and I had sex at least thirteen times. His sexual appetite was ravenous and consuming. I couldn't keep up. How could he keep screwing like that when his heart was ready to give out? Go figure. Luckily my genital rip had healed. I could no longer feel it, which was a damn good thing considering... The human body is amazing. Particularly my body, which endured quite a bit of Brandon's abuse. Would he ever give me free roam of his house? I had to be close to earning more freedom. Anyhow, I used his laptop to browse romance book sites to find the latest titles and download samples. Whenever I found an interesting synopsis, I asked him to buy the ebook. Normally I wasn't one to read fluffy romances considering they were unrealistic. Since Mom's suicide, it wasn't easy for me to read stories where perfect heroes treated their heroines like rare jewels. Just didn't strike me as believable. But reading became another outlet, an escape.
