Négociations Et Trahisons (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
Picking off right where book two left off, we are thrust back into Junction. I admit it took awhile to get used to the different p.o.v. but at the end of the read I was grateful for, it enriching the story in a way I didnt think possible. Jessie is locked up in a asylum trying to uncover what is really going on all the while trying to stay alive. Outside the asylum the rest of the gang are scrambling to get her out, and mother out , weeding their way through lies and betrayals. I loved this book because finally, finally, we get answers to all the supernatural happenings. True feelings are uncovered and while all the characters struggle with bargains I'm left heart aching with the loyalty and dedication I don't think the characters even know they are depicting. This book was a bang in more ways than one and ended leaving us yearning for more. So I wanted to read this, because I thought it was the end of the series, and then I looked and there are at least 2 more planned after this one. I am not that invested in the series to want to read this book and 2 more. So I just skimmed most of this, and didn't actually read but 20 pages or so. I would have probably liked it, but I just didn't care enough to read 3 more books, so I'm not investing more time into this until I find out how many books it will be dragged out to. I really do like Jessie and Pietre, and just assume they will be able to be together. Since that is how I want it to be, without reading the book.
