Nightwing, Vol. 2: Night Of The Owls (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
The big plot twist I already knew from reading the first two Batman new 52 books, so it kind of made this one super boring. Don't get me wrong there were 3 nice stories, and you went into Dick's past as Robin. It just wasn't over the moon interesting is all. I wasn't that concerned with who was framing Nightwing for the murders. Although bravo for having another openly gay character DC, I hope there are many more. I also hope Nightwing gets more interesting give me some Barbara Gordon romance please and thank you it's all I want. Good characterization makes this readable, but the plot is pretty weak, as the Republic of Tomorrow seems like the halfwit junior league version of the Court of Owls, which is itself not my favorite concept. I'd like to blame it on crossovers, but that's really only the first issue! Also, Nightwing needs a supporting cast... of his own (heck, there's not even enough Batfamily appearances here). First collection was a bit better than I had hoped but mediocrity is definitely settling in (or just becoming more apparent) here.
What do You think about Nightwing, Vol. 2: Night Of The Owls (2013)?
Great follow up to Vol 1. The action is steady and the story doesn't drop off at all.
