This was my first Cari Quinn book, but it won't be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the story. I love the "girl falling for her best friend's brother" trope. One of my favorites! And this book didn't disappoint. Jake was absolutely adorable, saying all the right things to make me swoon. And I love the pet nickname he called her. Noelle was a delight and so very likeable, you couldn't help but smile every time she was on the page. This was a fun, fast-paced book, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a quick romantic read to curb your appetite. This surely will do the trick. As posted on The Smutty Kitty reviewed by PussyWillow4 out of 5 LicksI have to say I Love the covers of these books! This is a great series, Cari's writing style makes the characters seem so accessible and you get the feeling you know them. They all have great wit and humor in the dialog. The first book, No Dress Required; maybe the shortest of the books, but it is a great quick read that leaves you satisfied that you read a complete story. I loved the build up of the chemistry between Noelle and Jake and when they do finally come together it is super sexy! This is a fun story, even the car jacking at the beginning had me laughing as she was trying to talk the thief out of taking her car and the part about using cling wrap. It is a sweet story too of friends coming together and falling in love.Highly recommend this series, all books are well written, they can be read together or as stand alones.
What do You think about No Dress Required (2011)?
It was okay. I didn't know it was a short story. Would have been awesome if it were longer.
