So again, I liked it but something was missing and I can't quite say what it was. But, it still drew me in like a moth to a flame so she's doing something right. I think I fell in love with both Merrick and Rachael. I really don't want to give anything away so I will just say that I think this is a worthy read and it moves quickly. There was a scene in here that I don't want to give away but let me just say- so.damn.hot. Like go get yourself a man or a battery operated boyfriend hot. I am not going to lie though. I wish the story was continuing with Merrick and Rachael- not MJ. And I will warn you- there is a cliff hanger and it might have driven me to drink. Oh well, guess I have to put on my big girl panties this time around and wait impatiently for the next installment... Yes. As I was saying-I don't know what it was that made me read this novella. I didn't like the first book, but maybe it was the sun or the idea of reading a short story, I decided to pick this up and just see how the characters were getting on. This picks up right where Taken stops. And the novella is way more interesting, intriguing and fast.I don't want to give anything away, but I will say that this should really have been tacked on to the last pages of Taken. It would have left me feeling a lot better about sacrificing my afternoon for the first book, and would have made me think about reading book two.Now, I'm curious about what happens. All because of this little novella.
