Can't decide what I think of this book. In a lot of ways this is like the DaVinci Code book. It's cerebral mystery, takes interesting twists, but did not end how I thought. I actually didn't like the ending and felt it left me hanging. There are 3 f bombs on here. Why is that? Hate when authors use that word needlessly. Otherwise a relatively clean book. Dine references to satanic practices that make this an adult book and would worry me for youth readers. If any of my friends read this, I'd love to chat with you about it! Donato Carrisi wrote his first novel, Whispers and I knew I had found an author I wanted to follow. Mr. Carrisi then gave us a second helping of excellence with this book. We follow Sandra Vegas and Marcus on their separate journeys toward more or less the same goal. At times their paths cross but for the most part they each are on their own and what they fine with every step puzzles them, astounds them and is comforting at times and then disquieting. One is a police officer specializing in forensic investigations and the other is a priest that belongs to a secret order of investigators of evil. Each seek answers and each finds them, to some extent. Enjoy this book, and be sure to read Whispers too. Whispers is indicated as Mila Vasquez 1 and Ms. Vasquez is mentioned in this book but only in passing, so you really don't need to read them in order. One will not prepare you for the other except that no matter which you read first you will know that revelations will come like a punch from Muhammad Ali at his peak; you know they are coming but you don't know from where and you will never be prepared for them.
What do You think about O Tribunal Das Almas (2012)?
