It had gone well, and he had a check in his pocket, which was always a good thing. He supposed he could head to the gym and work out or swim. Or he could walk the two blocks over and drop in on Kent. That idea had far more appeal. The last couple of weeks had been awesome. They hadn’t spent every day together, but they had spent a few evenings and all their weekends. I just finished coding.” “Oh good. I was hoping you’d be home. I was in the neighborhood and wanted to see you. Well, I want to see you whether I’m in the neighborhood or not, but I was so—” Dex rolled his eyes at himself and started again. “Hey, sweet.” He leaned in and took a kiss. “Hey.” Kent drew him in, relaxed and easy, closing the door behind them. “Have you got plans for this afternoon?”
