On a Beam of Light: A Story of Albert Einstein by Jennifer Berne is about how Albert Einstein grew up. It illustrates his underperformance in school when he was younger as well as his brilliant mind. The illustrations all have the same yellow background on them and they are done as sketches. The sketches are filed in with water color and the words are written into the illustrations. Overall the book taught a great lesson on Albert Einstein and how everyone learns differently. This is another book that is on my list to buy. I have been fascinated with Albert Einstein since I was a young child. It was not his brilliance that sucked in me in, it was his heritage. I grew up the only Ashkenazi jew in my neighborhood and he was the first jew I read about. This was probably my first text to self connection. I saw this book in the store and it all came rushing back. This picture book was moving and showed Einstein as a normal person. I would LOVE to read this aloud to a class of any age. Genre: Biographical picture book
This is lovely book. A great recommend to younger readers to learn about Albert Einstein for sure.

Excellent. Encourages the reader to ask his or her own questions as Einstein did.
