It was really nice to see the three men at their best for a change. Again, the short free stories seem to have the best communication between the men. The addition of the baby to the family is finally forcing them to make some decisions that they have been skirting. It was great to see Evan and Dan acting like adults and the three men finally openly discussing their future. Seeing Ryan and Chris was a surprise, since their relationship status was very vague in the last book, but I found the short time Robyn was there to be quite annoying. Other than that, I was happy with this a finale to the series, leaving the men moving forward as a solid family unit. Chris and Ryan are a couple! They get snowed in and their flight back to Kentucky gets cancelled so they crash Christmas at Evan’s mansion. It’s baby RJ’s first Xmas and apparently no one told them about the plan to leave Dan, Jeff and Evan alone with some privacy to celebrate together. Plans are ruined but as it turns out maybe a big family Christmas is best after all. Loved visiting with this family again and it looks like they’re settling in nicely with the baby.Things never go completely smoothly for Dan, Jeff and Evan but then, a three-way partnership isn’t going to be easy. The guys exchange rings on Christmas Eve but still have to deal with the impact on RJ when their nontraditional relationship goes public. I really like how Sherwood explores all the ups and downs and misunderstandings that can come around. And how the guys fight for what they have together whilst supported by their loving family.
