Well..hmm. Jeff & Evan and how they got together. It's been a while (I mean a while) since I read Dark Horse but lemme tell you, I remember every heartbreaking thing about that book. It's one I will not likely ever forget. Now, 33 pages you can't really expect everything you as a reader probably want to see in the story. I usually say 'suck it up..it is what it is and I move on to the next now. Well, I feel like a 'overly picky' reader now because I wanted way more. I think this could have been wonderful and yet it was just ok. :shrugs:There is plenty more to this series, so I'll just keep plugging away. THis is just a short story revolving around Jeff& Evan from Jeff's perspective.It gives some background information about how Jeff, who was a friend of Evan's parents was there for both Evan and his younger sister when their parents died in an accident. Jeff tries to fight his growing attraction towards Evan but can't help what he feels for the younger man.Not the best in the short stories, but still a good read!
A little sad, but sweet & adorable nonetheless. I like early Evan & Jeff.
