One Piece, Bd.27, Overtüre (2003) - Plot & Excerpts
Alright, no review, just notes on what happened:- Zoro, Robin--and an unwilling Nami--explore the jungle, leaving Chopper behind on the sacrificial altar. Zoro begins the comedic Tarzan yell (which ends up being used by Luffy and Usopp later on as well). Apparently doing the yell will let you swing successfully from vines. Silly Nami.- Luffy, Usopp, and Sanji are having the time of their lives with the Ball Challenge, one of the four challenges in Upper Yard. Mantra is introduced here, and so are battle-dials. (Though it was the previous volume where we are introduced to dials, Upper Yard, Enel, the Knight of the Sky--aka God/Kami--and the four guardians or whathaveyou).- After some beating, the three stooges beat the Ball Challenge, and make on their merry way.- Zoro, Robin, and Nami find out what Upper Yard really is.- Chopper loses his marbles when one of the guardians of Upper Yard come at him. We pick back up on Chapter 247: Trial of Balls.Luffy, Usopp, and Sanji are in the middle of a very tricky battle with one of the four priests. The priest is super strong and agile making it even more difficult for them.Meanwhile Chopper is in trouble back on the Merry Go. He blows the whistle to call for the Knight of the Sky. Will he show up or not? Well it's up to you silly sods to find out for yourselves or not. Cheers and Happy Reading!

People spoke so highly of the Skypeia arc, I'm kind of disappointed I'm not enjoying it more.
