This story gets better with each book! I found that Lee grasped the art of emotional potrayl in this book as it was almost (emotionally) exhausting to read. Every time Alexa and Arys had a falling out - it happened twice in this book - I felt as if it were my own breakup! My heart broke! I'd be lieing if I said I didn't cry at all while reading this book. However, the romantic drama in this book is not the saddest part.Throughtout this book, the reader really gets a sense that everything has changed and that the world we Huntress fans have grown accustomed to will cease to exist - which proves true in the next book. Its sad, but it leaves one curious about the darkness and plot twists to come. While there were some moments that I thought Arys was being a brat, and other moments when I thought Alexa was being a bit melodramatic, the series is still a hit for me. The storyline through all three of the books has been strong and well thought out. The writing continues to excel and keep me interested. Steamy - action packed - I'm trying to figure out when the final change will happen for her and what's going to happen with Kale. Already purchased the next two books - and I'm ready to move on to book 4 now!
