Macie is a writer for a woman's magazine, and Ross is the right-wing conservative radio host that tears apart her latest article, causing the magazine to lose advertisers. Macie is determined to dig up some dirt on this sanctimonious jerk, so she convinces her editor to give her six weeks to dig it up. She gives herself a makeover and gets herself hired as Ross's housekeeper/nanny. Macie smiles and bats her eyes, convincing Ross she is a good girl with conservative values, then searches for dirt when he's out of the house.Macie never expected to feel anything for Ross, or to get herself wrapped around the finger of his daughter, Samantha. With her six-week deadline rapidly approaching, Macie has to do some soul searching to decide which road to take. Will she use the dirt she's found to ruin Ross's reputation, or will she follow her heart? This is a fast-paced book, and I loved every word of it! Cute story, a bit predictable, a bit far fetched, but overall a new rake on Cinderella. Unlike traditional Cinderella, NOW liberal magazine writer, Macie has help with her cooking and cleaning because she can't even microwave food but takes a job as a housekeeper/chauffeur/ child care worker for a Republican radio host in an attempt to find some dirt on him....instead, she falls in love. Overall it was a fairly sweet story, quick read.

Gros coup de coeur pour cette belle romance qui mêle humour et conte de fée !

Totally predictable. Completely cliché. Characters nothing but stereotypes.
