Boris is as bullheaded (a moose) as it gets! Jan (a fox) is a hot little vixen that he can't seem to stay away from, no matter how hard he tries. His PTSD from the war makes him wary to get involved with anyone, especially Jan, for fear he'll hurt her - more than just emotionally. I find Boris to be the ultimate, self-depricating hero, and his stubbornness is HOT (to me). When a 'ghost' (pun intended) haunts and hunts Jan, the protector in Boris comes out. I really enjoyed this story, and I am really ticked that I have to wait until November for the next book. ;) I enjoyed the first book in the new Kodiak Point series, but really, for me it was just set up for this work of hilarious genius.A determined fox shifter in love with a stubborn moose shifter that has commitment issues. Adventure, chaos and hijinx ensue with a delicious payoff and the set up for additional books in the series.I laughed out loud in this, many times over. I rooted for the couple. A fun, fun read.
