The furniture wasn’t old or shabby, or modern, but well cared for over the years. Their large brown eyes and smile were warm and kind. I looked from them to the woman I really wanted to see up close. Clarice Miller looked even more like Louise today. Her eyebrow was raised in that same way Louise’s eyebrow would arch when she inquisitive.
