This book was just beautifully written. It was so easy to follow along and effortless to fall into. Some of the dialogue was ....ehhh a little corny (ie, "I can feel you in my womb." This was said during their first time together), but overall everything was great. The background was laid out well, the way these two characters were forced together and then came together. I loved Drake. He was super POSSESSIVE and alpha. Grace was a great heroine...a little lax...but great.Overall excellent read with action and excitement. The sex scenes were AWESOME. An enjoyable tale of an OTT male hero is tough and ruthless in business but tender and respectable to women (well not all women, just the ones that meet his standards!!!!) – he is after all a very rich arms dealer with some heavy criminal connections , and who finds redemption becomes obsessed with Grace, an incredible artist and loner. The plot, somewhat a bit unbelievable did not detract me from liking the story of Drake and Grace. I would have like to have been given a bit more information about the two…why was Grace so alone in the world, how did Drake get out of the slums to become a reclusive billionaire. However the build-up to the attraction and the lust for each other is really done well. I felt the tension and the chemistry between the two and how could Grace resist this kind, gentle, tender and rich man, living in the most opulent and amazing penthouse, where she could watch the twinkling lights of new York with snowflakes falling down, creating a magical and totally unknown world for her!!!!After all the danger, suspense, heart-stopping moments, being chased and shot by killers, I was relieved that they both survived the obstacles and began a new life together. I loved the whole thing of love is all it takes to make you a better person. Made me feel good for them and I had a smile as I turned the last page.Dangerous Passion is the first book I have read by this author and I like her style of writing, so I am definitely going to look out for her other books.Book OverviewFeelings kill faster than bullets. That is Drake's creed. A legend, a renegade, a ruthless, powerful enigma understood by no one and feared by all, Viktor "Drake" Drakovich heads up a billion-dollar empire—and shows no mercy to the many enemies who would stop at nothing to destroy him. He is a man with no love and no weakness, until...Grace Larsen takes Drake's breath away the first time he sees her—and quickly becomes his obsession. Never before has he burned for someone the way he desires this hauntingly beautiful artist who is plagued by troubling dreams. He aches to possess her, to protect her, to carry her to new heights of sensuous arousal and rapturous release. But entering Drake's world means becoming a target—for relentless, bloodthirsty foes have been eagerly waiting for him to expose his weak spot. And the price of their passion may be their lives.

I found this book in a recommendations thread for fans of Kristen Ashley and this book did not disappoint. I absolutely loved it. Drake is my new book boyfriend. There is something so touching about the ultimate bad boy that shows a great level of tenderness towards the woman he loves. Grace was amazing. A very well written heroine. Smart. Knew what she wanted and didn't try to fight against it. The action was entertaining without completely overshadowing the romance aspect. On to read her next book.

Una donna che riesce a farmi innamorare di un malvivente merita una stellina in più.
