When he walked into the office, she just gaped at him, letting her eyes travel up and down his magnificent male body. Geez! These men were sex on a stick! So goddamn yummy! How had she gotten so lucky? He laughed, that easy, throaty laugh they all had. The one that rolled through her like rumbling thunder, making her body shimmer and quiver with lustful anticipation. “Like what you see, darlin’?” he asked. She bit her cheek to keep from smiling, letting one shoulder lift in a lofty shrug while she appeared to be examining her fingernails. The ones Ash had carefully painted with bright red polish not two hours earlier. “You’re beginning to grow on me.” With that, he’d picked her up, practically run with her up both flights of stairs from the basement up to their bedroom. He’d thrown her unceremoniously down on the bed and plopped down on top of her, ravishing her with a series of open-mouthed, tongue-thrusting, rapturous kisses that drugged her senses and left both of them breathing heavily. He lowered his forehead to hers, trying to catch his breath. His heart was pounding so hard, he feared it would explode.
