I'm deeply saddened that I didn't enjoy this book more. I was so excited to start it, but I got about halfway through and it became excessively tedious. Every little thing can be fixed with the written word, love triangle ensues, blah blah blah. I still enjoyed parts of it, but nothing like I did in the first book. I do want to read the next book, just so I can figure out who she picks (I'm voting for Ariel). I was so bummed-out with this novel.I ADORED the predecessor. And look at that cover art - Jason Chan, you are my hero!!But sadly, Perchance to Dream didn't grab me. It was slow and choppy, and every time the plot began to lag again, it felt like the author tossed in the faeries and had them hold some ridiculous fight. There were a few things I liked, but for the most part, it suffered from Sequel Syndrome. *sad face*
What do You think about Perchance To Dream (2010)?
Fun, unique ya fantasy series. If you like fantasy and the theatre you will enjoy this trilogy.

I am embarrassed I gave the second book a chance. But now I have to finish the series.
