I really do think there were some missing pages. There were parts of the story where I would be in the middle of a sentnece after completing one on the previous page. Other than that, it was an okay story. I don't have anyone to reccomend this book to. I did get board with this book towards the middle, and I still feel like there are missing psrts to the story to help not just complete it, but to show more of the big picture. It is interestng how much she had changed at the end of the book. No teenager would changenthat much, even with that big of a consequence from a party. Kristin Billerbeck fans will love this book! "Perfectly Dateless" follows Daisy Crispin's journey towards getting a date for her senior prom in typical Kristin Billerbeck style: fast dialogue, high drama and humor. On the other hand, I've always felt love-hate feelings towards Billerbeck's works. I always find myself falling in love with the characters and laughing out loud at the humor, but for my perfectionist personality, her books are always a little too disorganized. The dialogue is very true-to-life in that it's fast-paced and jumps around, but it often also leaves me wondering, "How did the conversation get here?" Additionally, the characters all always seem to go through some sort of bipolar phase where they act completely out of character. That's also very true-to-life, but as a reader, the inconsistencies frustrate me.
What do You think about Perfectly Dateless (2010)?
Really good, but i am still epically confused about Chase. Review may be coming, it may not be. ;)
