Someone, or something, is sneaking into bedrooms all over Burrow Down and stealing all of the bedtime stories. Who would do such a thing? Eliza Brown decides to solve this mystery once and for all. The beginning is pretty creepy. For kids who would be freaked out by the idea of something sneaking into their rooms and stealing their favorite books, this might not be the best choice. Outside of that little warning, this book is fun and it touches on the importance of bedtimes stories, which is always nice. I don't usually do reviews on children's books, but this one is fabulous and the word needs to get out. I bought this for my 3 year old daughter and it has been a hit. The main character is a girl rabbit. I like having a female character as the main character. Mostly, I like the fact that she's just a rabbit that happens to be female. She doesn't wear a tutu or carry a purse to indicate her gender. This drives me crazy about other books with female main characters. However, this is not a book for only girls. It is perfectly unisex and fun for all. The rhyming text is cute and the story is adorable. Pick up a copy for your favorite kid today.
