I have to say I read this book after I read this book after I read the second in the series. I didn't realize it was one of two books. I love this author. She makes you laugh hysterically throughout the book! Well, I did anyway to the point where my husband had to ask me what I was laughing about! It is such a great read. I am hoping she writes a third so that we can look at the third friend in this trio of friends! I really enjoyed this book. There was humor. Sometimes I even laughed out loud. There was dual point of views. No cliffhanger. Gabe and Betts were young and in love years ago. Betts got pregnant. Let's just say their families got into their way. Betts thought she gave her son up for adoption, but it turns out that Gabe has him. Betts is a poor girl turned country music star. Gabe is a rich boy turned poor. This is the story of Betts trying to get into her son's life. Tom is their son. We also get his point of view as well as his girlfriends'. I love Tom's first date. He was so sweet with lots of manners. This book will make you laugh and cry. Great job.
