I have no idea where I got this book. Was it a freebie? Did I buy it an not realize it? I was looking through my way to long list of kindle books I haven't read yet and honestly, the cover appealed to me, so I started reading it. WOW. I flippin LOVED it. This was a great story. I love the story of their past love, I love his awkwardness with being social (and I totally understand it too!) and I love her freeness and love in the past and her determination and passion in the present. This book just grabbed me. What a tragic and beautiful love story! Two kids who didn't know what to do with their feelings, Violet doing what any normal girl does and Zach, having not known love in his life, running from his feelings and the only person who had ever loved him.Flash forward 9 years to Violet in a loveless but safe relationship and Zach living the typical rocker lifestyle, until fate decides it's time for them to be back together.This book was very well written, you could feel, the love, the anguish, the music through every page and chapter!Definitely will be looking for more of Katy's work!
