Seth Godin himself calls this book a 'rant', and that's the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. There are no chapters, just short sections, covering whatever came to mind. It's as if he was explaining his ideas to someone and kept saying "and another thing..."Having said that, his ideas are well worth listening to. He says the rise of factories turned us all into conformists, doing what we're told. We need to poke the box and see what else we can do with it. Come up with lots of new ideas, new ways of doing things. And then we need to ship.'Ship' is his word for delivering what we thought of. Having ideas is just the start. We need to see them through and put them into practice, create new products and ship them, create new ways of doing things and action them.I found the book compelling and inspiring and recommend it to everyone.
What do You think about Poke The Box (2011)?
Inspiring book about the "fire, aim, fire" -principle. Not sure which year I read this one.

A short and easy read. I'd say more, but I have to go and do something...now!
