If my currently reading shelf is any indication - I am a multi-tasker. I also have an awful habit of beginning tasks, but not finishing them all. Clearly, this leads to a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety. I needed this book. While The Power of Less focuses on applications for the work environment, a lot of the principles can be applied to your personal life as well. For me this biggest take away was focusing on the present, MITs (Most Important Tasks), and slowing down. Interesting take on living a minimalist lifestyle. Babauta isn't preachy or condescending which helps with the readability. I didn't find any of his advice truly revolutionary but it acted as a good reminder that more isn't always better and that "no" is a word that probably needs to be said more frequently. I'd recommend it to someone interested in simplifying their lifestyle or to fans of his blog (zenhabits.net)
Very simple book, but convincing. Key message: focus on one goal at a time.

Good info, but I had read almost all of it before from other sources.

Nothing really new here, but a good reminder nonetheless...

To me it appears as if an essay and many things are not new
