It has well-drawn characters and a fast-paced and intriguing plot just as the other books in the trilogy. The characters of the past and the future join forces to prevent an apocalyptic moment that would destroy all. True love remains central to the story and to the survival of all. The men and women fight side-by-side as equals without regard to their gender. I recommend this trilogy to all those who love fantasy and enjoy historical fiction about Druids.
