Грязная и неуютная, но зверски интригующая фантастика. Текста минимум, диалоги практически отсутствуют, читать сложно и очень завлекательно. Крайне оригинальная штука.И чем-то напоминает Юрия, прости господи, Петухова с его циклом про космодесантника Ивана, у которого все было настолько отвратительно, что не оторваться. TL:DR Gets better on re-reading...I liked this comic when it came out but felt a bit lost at first. The use of different artists to tell different strands of the story was offputting at first. Even in its original sequential presentation though, this gave me the feeling that it was worth sticking at it & now I that I own the trades, I'm glad of the chance to appreciate loads of great storytelling subtleties & small details I hadn't noticed the first time around. Who knows, this could be the shape of comics to come... And if not why not?I don't know, really... :-) Guess I'll need to read this a _third_ time through. Seriously, what better recommendation do you need?

Great art, full of atmosphere. In my opinion, the best comic being published today.
