Very interesting biography of Feynman. I ranked it highly because of its unusual nature. This biography is much more concerned with his science and how his personality led him to be the great scientist he was. If you are not inclined to understand the history of modern physics, this book is probably not for you. If you are, it doesn't dwell on many of the well known idiosyncrasies in his personality that also make him interesting, or rather, only when they help to fill in the picture of his scientific career and scientific motivations. This was an engaging account of the scientific works beyond my detailed comprehension, brought back to the ground at a consumable level. I listened to the recording in a single day while driving and stayed thoroughly engaged. Well done! The most surprising thing was how long these discoveries took to become mainstream. From my own life experience, these discoveries of the 70's didn't get to my awareness until the late 80's and early 90's and as a teen I'd assumed they were just happening!
"Genius" is a better bio but this one adds better info about the calculations and advances he made.

Interesting book about Feynman's contributions to quantum electro dynamics.

Focuses on the science and not on the fun stories ~
