When I went over the list with Johnny, he was shocked by the number of bootlegs. He knew that Ken Ritter, his manager from 1960 to 1964, and Roy Ames, who managed him from 1966 to 1968, had released numerous bootlegs of the singles they had produced for him. But he had no idea there were so many. The song lists were even more surprising.
