this book has been one of my favourite books that i have read . It is my favourite David Walliams book so far . What i enjoye about this book is that the story and idea is very original and interesting .The book is written very cleverly , but also in a humorous way and that is a very intelligent thing to do as an Author . The other thing i liked is that all David Walliams book have one same character that appeares out of no-where in every single book and this is very interesting and makes you want to re more and more.over all i woul give this book a 10\10 and would describe it is phenominal . Life is horrible for Zoe. The school bully is always picking on her, her new stepmother is disgustingly lazy, and Burt's Burgers' evil owner, Burt, wants to make her pet rat into a ratburger! It's up to Zoe to rescue her beloved Armitage from the evil Burt, but will she be able to save him from becoming food? This title is a chapter book appropriate for grades 3-6.A public library should stock this item because, with such a strong supervillain and a strange concept, this book is good for children who enjoy Roald Dahl's humorous, twisted sensibility. It's also good for children looking for a strong child hero, or kids who would find the concept of a ratburger deliciously disgusting. This material could be used in a public library in programming about different kinds of pets (including rats), or in programming about the dark side of the food service industry, as well as any programming celebrating Roald Dahl and authors like him.
