At first I thought hey this looks like a really cool rocker book....... but little did I know there were twists and turns all over the place. I figured out it's a mystery/investigative Rocker book. My mind was Blown (KABOOM)It's a story thats deep and meaningful without putting to much in it. If you love a good rocker book and mystery/investigative book then pick this up. I will have to admit that this was a love and hate relationship. At times I actually liked the book and then there were times I wanted to toss my reader. If you're just looking for a quick read, something very rough around the edges with little to no plot, go right ahead. The cover is catchy and I think that is the reason why I wanted to read it. Again, I was turned off several times with this book and some of the events just DRAGGED. This book could have been shorter but instead kept going for no reason. The characters, kind of overrated. Don’t get me wrong, I love me a nice hot tattooed boy and piercing, but nothing screamed at me. There wasn’t much character development, which is BIG for me. I like the small plot sort of thing that was going with the whole suppose psycho sister, drunken brother and such, but it came up very short. Well, besides for the parts that bothered me and some few parts that I like I would say the book would get a 3.5 or so from me. There a couple quotes in there that I actually liked, so overall, a so-so book. Not sure if I will pick up the second book, I might just because of the cliffhanger at the end.
