I had such high hopes for this book. Olivia and Lex are different from most characters and their bickering is hilarious. But the ending did not seem complete and there were so many spelling errors that it became distracting at times. I love CM Stunich, so yeah I wanted more lol. Nevertheless it was a refreshing tale and I still enjoyed myself. Olivia IS an alpha female. She is so strong while at the same time showing little areas of compassion. I would have loved to see her give more of herself in the story. Lex IS an alpha male and so amazingly hot. He is asshole perfection. The supporting characters should have had more "screen time" in my opinion. Loved them. Great book. I really enjoyed seeing a the funny side of C.M's writing, I loved that she can go from dark and depressing with characters having a lot of issues to characters who have less issues and are funny, "to reach the dead bolt, I have to push even further into him. This time, it's not just firm chest that I'm feeling - it's his firm everything. Holy sweet baby Jesus. "Your erection is touching me," I grind out a split second before Lex is pushing me back, breathing hard, practically panting." His response to that was laugh out loud, "you mean, you're touching it." Lex I loved him holy s*** did I love him, "what can I say," I growl back at her, uncrossing my arms and taking a step forward. her eyes narrow, but she refuses to look at my face. "I guess the sight of you just turns me the eff one. Too bad you're attitude is insufferable." Olivia is not one to hold her feelings or thoughts in, "you think you can whip your d*** out and what? I'll come crawling to you? Pledge my allegiance? Indulge your fantasies?" I would love to see C.M. write more like this I really almost pi**ed my pants reading it.
