it was an okay mystery i guess, the cupcake theme was cute but i found the characters a little silly,i mean the adults act like teenagers while oz(the youngest worker and is a teenager seems 2 b as capable as a 4 year old!!!!!!!!!!!!![Plus the mystery was a bit cheap,i thought they where detectives but really they remind me of scooby do-random people that get caught in a mystery against there will. Another great book in the Cupcake Mystery series!! This cozy mystery series is one of my absolute favorites. I'm very picky when it comes to cozy mysteries, I enjoy them but they have to be up to a certain standard for me to keep reading past the first novel, and this series has got me hooked. I adore Mel and her two best friends Tate and Angie. Angie is a firecracker and I'm always waiting to see what she's going to do next. She's the perfect best friend for Mel who is a lot more level-headed and calm. Also Mel's love interest Joe is absolutely fantastic. He's not a cop or a private detective but he IS a DA so he manages to be involved with the crimes that happen but he's not the stereotypical love interest found in cozy mysteries. This book added great new characters to the cast and ended with a twist that was fantastic. Can't wait to get my hands on the next novel!
Hadn't read this author before but it was a slow start but was exciting at the end. Enjoyed it.

Not as good as the last book, but in some ways better than the first two books in the series.
