Remembering Whitney: My Story Of Love, Loss, And The Night The Music Stopped (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
Well it was a good look into Whitney as a person, at least in the early days but first half was mainly about Cissy & her music career & the second half really glossed over Whitney's drug use, Bobby Brown's craziness etc. I think she could have done better...I mean if you dont want to talk ab your daughter fine, but dont write a biography...or do it differently. Still sad story though & a good reminder no matter how hard you want you cant save someone who doesnt want it,. If you are a big Whitney Houston fan like I am, then your curiosity will get the better of you when you start to read this page-turner. Cissy gave a very personal and guarded account into both their lives. As the book cover photo suggests, their lives were intricately interwoven yet very private and separate. The moral of the story, IMHO, is not to judge anyone by their imperfections but support them where they most need help. We all have our tragic flaw!
What do You think about Remembering Whitney: My Story Of Love, Loss, And The Night The Music Stopped (2013)?
Expected the book to be more about Whitney. Disappointed that it was more about her mother.
