Perhaps he fell asleep and needs to be woken.” Vanessa groaned. “Do you think you could?” “Why can’t you?” asked her grandmother. “I don’t want to seem like I’m one of those women throwing themselves at him. The whole point is to give him one less thing to have to worry about. If I go and bother him now, he might think I’m badgering him or something.”
