Wow! Tess Oliver has done it again. Just when I thought I couldn't love anyone more than that Viking Clutch, she goes and write about his equally sexy younger brother Barrett aka Rett. I have to admit, I wasn't much of a Rett fan in Clutch but he started to grow on me in Dray's story and now I am in love! I love that these books show us a bit of each guys personality and then they get their own story. For me, Rett was BY FAR the hottest of all the Custom Culture books. For Rett, women are nothing but a notch on his bed post. Rett has a different girl(s) every night and leaves before the sun peaks over the horizon. It is the perfect life, for someone like Rett. That is until all his friends are settling down. Rett begins to think that maybe his life is missing something after all. Finley King is also missing something in her life. She has a past that she is trying to forget, but the medication she takes everyday is making that a little difficult. When Finley and Rett meet, fireworks go off. It is evident that these two have chemistry from their first meeting. Again, I didn't think I would enjoy a first time as much as I did Clutch's and Taylors, but boy was I wrong. The first time Rett and Fin get together is H-O-T. My mouth was dry and I was sweating. Rett and Fin are perfect for each other and their chemistry is powerful. I'm not sure what else I can say about this book. I loved it!! Great read if...you enjoyed the other books in the series, alpha males, strong females, switching POVs, following your heart, falling in love, falling in love from different walks of life, marching to the beat of your own drum, family dynamics, going after what you want, hot sex scenes, danger, plot twists, witty moments, and a well deserved HEA!Side Note: I'll be honest. All the original boys in the crew were awesome and I remember thinking when Rett first came that I was annoyed because I didn't need an extra bro. I had enough. God I was so wrong! Lol. All the books in the series have their own vibes and their own love stories, all with these badass female characters and these charming men, but each with their own special appeal. And each with their own strange plot twist to overcome. Rett was no different. What made him special to me though was the way his crazy antics and passionate ways he was constantly ragged on for having was exactly what Fin needed. I liked that none of the characters change who they are for someone to like them. Tess' books do a great job at letting you be unique and letting someone find the sexiness and amazingness in just being yourself. Hats off to that kind of message Tess!
