As many of you know, I am not a huge fan of YA/NA books. But there was something really amazing about this book that I seriously could not put down. I love all of Tess books and when I heard that there was going to be a cross over from this book into Rett I knew I had to jump on it. I am so glad I did because I got to meet some of my favorite characters that i wish were my friends, Eden, Finely and Some Pig! Its amazing how Tess created the dynamics between the characters that you feel you personally know them. We get to see a serious dilemma that not many authors can truly write about and write it well. I am a proud Tess addict and I cannot wait to read Finley and Retts story! This was an easy, quick read. Eden takes a summer job as a companion to a depressed Finley (daughter to a rock god) and falls for her brother. Eden quickly becomes BFFs with Finley and falls in love with Jude. It was too much, too fast for me. It would have made it a little more believable if things had slowed down some. Jude was a little too hot-and-cold to believe she'd fall that quickly. And I actually wanted to see more of Eden's independent side when she took the waitressing job. I liked how she made the best of her situation and didn't wallow in pity.I truly hated the last chapter, the fight was just silly and overly dramatic. That could have been cut out all together. I feel like there were some loose ends that could have been tied up a little better, and would have liked an epilogue.
What do You think about Strangely Normal (2000)?
good book....would like to see what happens next and with some of the others.
