Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Dominion (2000) - Plot & Excerpts
What a relief that quite a few of the characters who had lingered too long in the last several stories were finally removed. It was really pleasant that Arkadin was left out of this story altogether. I will go ahead then and move on to The Bourne Objective with the hope that Arkadin will still not resurface (needs to stay gone for several books) and that Van Lustbader is able to have more 'fresh' story lines built out of his quasi cliff hanger at the end of this story. I found myself wandering off mentally all the time. This was a spy version of Tolkein. There was so much blah blah blah that I got bored all the time. Information overload. Characters with similar sounding names kept throwing me off. I have enjoyed Ludlum's books, but this was not Ludlum. I've read other Van Lustblader books not in the Bourne series, but this was not a good one. I would not reccomend this to anyone, but the audio narrator did a great job at it.
