So I liked it but I found it incredibly short so I didn't understand why they agreed to stay together. It was just way to easy and there was very little conflict so at time - even though it's short - it didn't keep my interest. And I might have skipped over the last sex scene cause I just wanted it to be over after awhile, it was just to long. But I'd never read a book about lion's before so I expected it to be a little different then normal wolf shifters but there isn't actually a real difference. I'm hoping the rest of the books show that there is a difference. Disappointing. Yes, it's true, I was disappointed in this tale of kinky queer werelions, even though the leader of said werelions is named ARSLAN. That alone is nearly worth the price of admission. But mostly I thought the werelions were not liony enough. Like they hung out in this big house, took a lot of naps, and had thoughts like "it's not his fault, he's not a lion." So that part was terrible. Actually, pretty much all of it was terrible. Next!
What do You think about Ryland's Sacrifice (2010)?
Lovely story. Didn't expect anything and was pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed it.

Sweet!A slightly new take on shifters, and a very enjoyable read.
