I wrote my review of this book the other day, and I can't believe that I didn't save it![return]This was the first of J.T. Ellison's books that I've read, but it will most definitely not be the last! I really enjoyed the story, and the characters.[return]I was a little disappointed that I hadn't realised that this wasn't the first in a series before I read it - I felt there were definitely things I should have known about the characters history before reading this, and found myself wondering if I'd missed something. That aside, So Close the Hand of Death does stand alone as a very good read. I've already found myself a copy of the first book in this series, so that I can read them in order, and then re-read this. And I'm eagerly awaiting the next book too![return]It was a very exciting, very clever and very gripping story, and I'm very glad it has introduced me to J.T. Ellison and her characters! First book I've read by this author, once again reading out of sequence, but not hard to follow.Pleasantly surprised by it, wasn't a show-stopper, but was good enough to make me thing I want to try another one and see how that goes.In this series, the female protagonist is a Nashville policewoman, her fiancee an FBI agent. The problem at hand is someone is copying previous famous serial killers, perhaps in an attempt to get closer to our policewoman.
What do You think about Så Nära Dödens Hand (2012)?
I guess I expected more. Very predictable and I felt the ending was rushed.
