As Damon strode into the bedroom, she wondered at her reasoning. She knew this wasn’t anything but what she said it was. They both pitied her. Part of her hated them for it, but another part, the bigger part, knew they did it out of love. Not a deep-seated, romantic love but one that was forged in friendship, and lasted years. But at the moment, she couldn’t say no. She loved these men. She had wanted them for years. When she realized what they did with women, it had added another layer of need that had driven her to distraction when she was around them. She wanted to be bad, just this once. They weren’t offering forever. Heck, knowing the two of them the way she did, she knew they weren’t even offering to date her. Tonight was about tonight, or at least until they went back to the mainland. With what felt like reverence, Damon laid her on the bed as Alex climbed up beside her. “Are you sure?” Damon asked. She heard muttering again from Alex and smiled. Alex was the hothead, the one that dove in to the water without thinking.
