Excellent book! Loved the story, love the characters. I laughed, cried & fell in love. Author did an amazing job, it was like watching a movie. That is how well she described her characters, the surroundings & how the story evolved. It is packed with everything that a book lover like me enjoys. Would recommend & this book will definitely go on my keep & to be re-read shelves. This is my 2nd book from this author, I will definitely get a few more. I love Monica Alexander!! Her books are well written and engaging.This book was no exception, once I started I couldn't stop. Josh and Taylor have been friends forever. She keeps looking for love in all the wrong places. Until she finally sees what is staring her in the face-and opens her heart. But of course it can't be all unicorns and sparkles. The subject of mental illness is touched on and dealt with respectfully. Even with sad and hard times they continue to talk and not take each other for granted. I didn't find Taylor annoying-she matured and grew- which is what we want our characters to do. Josh is incredible, even as a bit of a man whore. ;pWas hilarious how they kept running into characters that he'd been with before. And how cool was it to have the characters from Buried Castles!! Emily,Zach and Molly with the rest of Liars Edge.And another family and friends group that is supportive, crazy and loving. So,my author love of Monica continues- look forward to more stories!
