I really enjoyed this series. You definitely want to start from the beginning with book one so you get the character development, as they do appear in every book.Who doesn't love a good love triangle? Should Emily hold out and wait for Jeremy to decide he wants to move forward in their relationship (NOT!) or, continue to explore what she and Ethan feel for each other?! No brainer if you ask me!! I would have liked the book to be a bit longer. Also, in my head I pictured the ending differently, but, I still thought it was worth the read and would recommend the series. It was more vanilla then I usually read, but enjoyable. I will read the next book in the series. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to read and review. This book was won on a goodreads' giveaway, so I had not read the first two books in the series. I really wish I had prior to reading this one. However, you can read this book without having read the two prior to it. I just would have liked to have the background of some of the other characters going into this novel. I loved the interaction between the two main characters. Their chemistry was bouncing off the pages. I enjoyed the banter between them. I would have liked to have seen a little more conflict between Jeremy and Ethan, but I don't know if that might have made the story drag into unnecessary places. I would also like to know if Collin and Ethan make the Olympics, maybe that will be another book. Overall, this is a great book and I am going to go back and read books one and two in the set now.
What do You think about Second String (2000)?
I am just taking a guess here but I am going to say that this is Emily and Ethan's story?!?
