Ward's serials, the books start off right where the previous book ended and ends in a cliffhanger or an "edge-of-your-seat" unresolved situation, making you want to dive into the next book immediately. Since the books are shorter than novels, there are no extensive recaps of previous events from one book to another so you may want to start with book 1.In book 2, the lines of Anna & Cole's relationship start to blur. The physical attraction is intense and the sexual tension in this book has you begging for more. I love how H.M. Ward uses the art of anticipation in her writting (she's a litterary tease!). The character of Anna is smart and sassy. There are a lot of funny moments that'll have you smiling or laughing out loud!
