This is a sweet story.I did think Annabelle's acts were a bit silly, and I didn't like the scene that she climbed the tree to get into his room. It was ABSURD. Knightly was definitely a nodcock. He shouldn't notice Annabelle after she lowered her bodice.Though I wasn't satisfied with Knightly, Annabelle was so sweet and caring that I liked her too much to dislike the book. The plots were all predictable but this book was perfect for entertainment. If you are looking for something light-hearted, this is the one. I always enjoy Maya Rodale's books because of the humor, but the editing leaves a lot to be desired. By the time a book goes to print, mistakes like the use of "taught" vs. "taut" really ought to be fixed! Also, I was particularly annoyed in this book that the characters kept referring to Lord Marsden's sister as "Lady Marsden" when her proper title would have been "Lady Lydia." I know these are minor annoyances in the grand scheme of things, but they are irritating enough that they jar me out of the story every time I see them and prevent me from fully enjoying it.
What do You think about Seducing Mr. Knightly (2012)?
Cute book, but the editing is appalling. So...many...errors.
