The story surrounds male Lion shifters who have broken from their pride to give themselves and their children a better life. Female lion shifters do not want families but do not want the males to have anyone else.In their new town of Ashland the child of Aaron conspires with his brothers to get his dad to meet his music teacher.I loved that the whole family was involved and how a strong but soft hearted woman goes from being rejected by her ex to finding the love of not one but two male lions. Aaron and Grant are the epitome of loving men who did not think they would get a chance to mate.the whole pride welcomes this new union while evil forces (female lions) conspire. Samantha shows her love and strength defending her new family.I am excited there are more in the series and have moved to the next one. Music Teacher Samantha Thomas knows all about heartbreak, when her husband left her because she couldn't have children. When he followed her as she began to start a new life in Ashland, it was one more kick that she didn't need but she preserved. Never did she expect that a couple of the adoring children she teaches hacks up a plan to get their father to date her. Except there is a slight snafu in the plan and she meets the wrong father and finds an attraction she never expected to both men.Aaron and Grant Fallon don't have a ton of experience with women, the pride they left had women who only came around when the males wanted to breed leaving the children when they gave birth to the male. Aaron and Grant both want Samantha and finding out she is not adverse to the idea has both of the men hoping for a happily ever after and Samantha may just get what she wants, a family. This was a good one. The story is paced in a way that it is not an instant Samantha-mate-family, Aaron and Grant set out to woo her even though they are not sure what they are doing. The children in the story are adorable and you are introduced to several characters there are sure to be books about. Great beginning to new series.
